MOTUS Theatre of Rimini (Italy) was founded in 1991 by ENRICO CASAGRANDE and DANIELA NICOLO. Considered one of the most interesting phenomena of the Italian stage, the group creates productions that are combination theatre and performance art, as well as actions in non-theatrical spaces. The Motus Theatre’s shows are characterized by rich visuals and a highly original treatment of space. In 1999 and 2002 the troupe received the coveted “Ubu” Italian Theatre Prize.
