belgian architectural firm dmvA designed ‘blob VB3’, a mobile unit for the office of xfactoragencies as an extension to the ‘house’. the space - egg house consists of a bathroom, kitchen, lighting, a bed and several niches for storage. the nose can be opened automatically and functions as a kind of porch. it easily transportable and can also be used as an office, guestroom or garden house.
The interiors of this home by i29 architects exude a sensation of sobriety and comfort in a completely controlled open space. A common feature is that these spaces are stripped down to their most fundamental features with an abundance of natural light and a scarcity of elements in the room.
SANA Berlin Hotel. Architects: Francesc Rifé Studio / “His design solutions are clear and neat, tasteful, coherent, and to the point. His interiors always exude an incredibly tidy and well-ordered impression, and in most cases this is one of their characteristic strengths. However, precisely for this reason they often seem a little cool and strangely inanimate.”

Building Blocks at Färgfabriken, Stockholm - we make money not art
One of the most cheerful and seducing houses is the one built by architecture studioAOC following the instructions a group of 7 children from Friars Primary School in London. The collective image of the dream house that emerged from the brainstorming features a big kitchen for baking cookies and muffins, a bathtub suspended high in the ceiling, golden colour everywhere, vibrant colours elsewhere, a roof no higher than treetops so that you can pick up apples from the windows. The windows also had to blow bubbles, by the way. The house is covered with a light reflecting golden film which transparency depends on where the light comes from.
